How to write references

Introduction

References to sources are used as documentation for arguments and statements. It is then possible to prove the accuracy of the statement – whether the work is valid or whether important information is missing. All statements which are not commonplace are included.

Standards for references and list of examples

A number of citation formats are available. The citation examples on this site follow the format of The American Psychological Associations (APA).
